Be proud of me. I participated in my first political rally today. not quite 100% sure what it was about (rising price of bread? budget cuts? frustration at the French monarchy for oppressing we the peasants for so long??) anyway it all felt very “Lord of the Rings” or “Narnia”-esque because there were people yelling loudly at us and we were this big teeming horde and whenever they’d pause we would shout angry things back at them, or if they said something affirmative we would yell good things at them, and they passed out wooden signs so it even felt like they armed us with weaponry!
and then all we did was yell at the government, really LOUDLY and ANGRILY mind you, but still just yelling and marching.
i suggested we hit things in an angry manner with our signs and everybody looked at me funny.
Protests are fun apparently.
